Hi!
2-3 liner about the blog
Anton
Anton works in the Occupational Health & Safety sector as an Industrial Audiometric Technician. He graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronic Systems Engineering. A former Catholic lay missionary, Anton learned that the dignity of his work is found in the why rather than the what. His hobbies include watching home improvement videos, experimenting in the kitchen, and playing guitar. When he’s not working, reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar to his daughter (for the nth time), or throwing out the the garbage, Anton enjoys playing hockey at the local rink.
Fun fact: in an alternate universe, Anton would be a licensed chiropractor.
Genifer
Before marriage and motherhood Genifer enjoyed biking to work and watching live theatre. These days, she gets a thrill out of the built-in vacuum feature of the minivan and surviving another week without killing any houseplants. She is also learning to balance life at home with her career as a communications officer for a Christian environmental organization. This often means putting in hours while the little one is asleep, juggling play dates with conference calls, and remembering to feed the cat somewhere in between. When she’s not avoiding the stench of her husband's hockey equipment, she unwinds by running outdoors (weather permitting) and reading several books at once. She has an affinity for warm places, thoughtful design, and all things English Literature.
Family Crest
Our family crest symbolizes the pillars that have built our relationship over the years. As we embark on the next chapter of our lives together, we hope to uphold it as the foundation for generations to come.
